Encore is committed to sustainable work environments and business practices based on sound economics, environmental protection, social responsibility and incorporating the Business & Institutional Furniture Manufacturers Associates (BIFMA) Sustainability Guidelines into our daily operations.

One important aspect of those goals is limiting the emission of volatile organic compounds (VOCs) released from products and components, which can detrimentally affect overall health and well-being.

With that in mind, Encore has achieved SCS indoor air quality certification for the majority of seating and table products, meeting criteria for the following:

• LEED-CI Credit EQ 4.5, Low-Emitting Materials, Systems, Furniture and Seating
• BIFMA M-7.1 and X-7.1, Low-Emitting Office Furniture Systems and Seating
